FTFC Youth Tournament 2022

Over the weekend of Saturday 28th May and Sunday 29th May, Fakenham Town hosted the annual Daly Group Cup. Many teams and age groups competed over the weekend and was a very enjoyable weekend. We have received some very positive feedback from visitors which we really appreciate. Thank you to all the kids and parents for coming and a special thanks to all the volunteers who helped on the BBQ, Score Lorry, Car Park, Meet & Greet etc. Tournament photos can be found on Facebook by searching “Fakenham Town FC Photos By Jackie Price”

Fakenham U15 Crowned NCYFL DIV 2 Champions!

By Jackie Price: 5 years ago no one especially Shane Fish Manager of the team, would have expected his team to win this award. At U12 the team was left decimated when most of their team left to join another club. Shane had to decide with only 5 players remaining should he continue and try to find new players or fold the team. Fortunately he chose the first option and with Jack Cookson their coach and the 6 remaining players Harry FIsh, Tommy & Archie Yaxley, Jim Walker and Tyler Maple he began building a new team.
Today all that effort and hard work has paid off and they can now head into Division 1 in their final year in Youth Football.
